Torrance is a small and picturesque village situated 8 miles north of Glasgow City Centre. It lies close to the river Kelvin and the Forth & Clyde Canal and is surrounded by countryside, farmland and hills. All this allows it to boast some wonderful scenery, walks, wildlife and of course – pubs.
This web site has been set up to inform you about all aspects of our village and has been recently redesigned to allow for easy contributions and comments. As the site grows it will include more about activities in and around Torrance, clubs, forthcoming events, local businesses and much more. It is a non-profit making site designed to serve the community of Torrance and it’s visitors. It is receiving over 500 visitors a month and with plenty of room for expansion, it needs all visitors to contribute.
Please comment on what you think of the new site and suggest items for inclusion/improvement.
